a - TECHNOMANIAC's - BLOG: application

Application ေတြ၊ ပရိုဂရမ္ေတြ၊ ဖိုင္ေတြကို အရင္တံုးက ဖြင့္ဖို႔အရမ္းခက္တယ္မဟုတ္လား။ =D Start Menu ကို ႏွိပ္၊ တစ္ခုခ်င္းရွာ ဘာညာကြာစိႏွင့္ အလုပ္သိပ္ရႈပ္လို႔ ကြ်န္ေတာ္တို႔ေတြ Launcher ဆိုတာေတြကို သံုးခဲ့ၾကတယ္ေလ။ Launchy, Quicksilver စတဲ့ ပရိုဂရမ္ launcher ေတြဟာ အရမ္းအဆင့္ျမင့္လာၾကပါတယ္။ ေနာက္ဆံုးအခုေဟာ့ေနတဲ့ Enso ဆုိရင္ ဘယ္ေလာက္ေတာင္ေကာင္းသလဲ။ သင္ဂူဂယ္ေျမပံုရွာမလား၊ alarm ေပးမလား၊ scientific တြက္ခ်က္မႈေတြလုပ္မလား၊ စသည္စသည္ႏွင့္ အရမ္းအသံုး၀င္ၾကတယ္။ ဒါေပမယ့္ အကုန္လံုးက မမ္မိုရီတုတ္တာေတာ့ အမွန္ပဲ။ ဒါေၾကာင့္ .... ကြ်န္ေတာ္ကေတာ့ နည္းေဟာင္းၾကီးျဖစ္တဲ့ StartMenu -> Run ကိုပဲၾကိဳက္တယ္။ Win + R ႏွိပ္လိုက္ရင္ box ေလးေပၚလာ သင္ဖြင့္ခ်င္တဲ့ ပရိုဂရမ္ကို နာမည္ရိုက္ထည့္ .. ျဗဳန္းဆိုတက္လာ။ ျပီးေရာ။ ဥပမာ - gtalk ဆိုရင္ .. Win+R ႏွိပ္၊ gtalk ရိုက္လိုက္ရံုပဲ။ Google Talk ၾကီးပြင့္လာေရာ။ သဟာမ်ိဳးရိုက္ႏိုင္ဖို႔ကို Registry မွာ နည္းနည္းျပင္ထားရံုပါပဲ။ Firefox လို ေဆာ့ဖ္၀ဲက သြင္းလိုက္ရင္ ေအာ္တိုေရးေပးျပီးသားမို႔ ဘာမွလုပ္စရာမလိုဘူး၊ Win+R ႏွိပ္ firefox လို႔ ရိုက္လို႔ရတယ္။ အခုဆရာတို႔ favourite .. QQQ ခ်တ္ လိုဟာမ်ိဳးေတြကေတာ့ မရဘူး။ Registry ျပင္ေရးရမယ္။ အဲ့လို ႏွစ္သက္ရာပရိုဂရမ္ကို Win+R သံုးဖို႔အတြက္ .. follow these steps ပါ။ -->

#1 - Open Registry Editor! Press Windows Key + R, then type, regedit.

#2 - When Registry Editor opens, expand "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE", expand "SOFTWARE", then find "Microsoft" and expand.
#3 - Then, find "Windows" and expand. You will see "CurrentVersion". ... then, expand "App Paths" again.

#4 - Here you can see tons of .exes in the list. Your application need to be one of the list!
#5 - So, right click on "App Paths" --> New --> Key.

#6 - Change the key name to the one you're gonna type in "Run command box" .. if u want to type only gtalk .. so put it "gtalk.exe". Make sure you put ".exe"!

#7 - Alright, now, just click on "(Default)" and "Modify".

#8 - Then, type in the path of the application you wish to open. Mine is Gtalk, which lies under ProgramFiles\GoogleTalk.!

Click OK. Close Registry Editor. Now try launching your favourite application from "Run box". Press Win+R, type "gtalk", click OK. That application should launch properly =D
